Spend a day tasting some of the Berry’s most tempting cheeses and mouth-watering wines, including Châteaumeillant’s celebrated rosé gris.

In the morning, you will visit a local goat’s cheese producer with your guide, where you will gain an insight into the traditional methods still used today that make this area’s cheese so special and have the opportunity to taste some of the region’s most delectable cheese.

At lunchtime, you will have the chance to taste some of France’s most wonderful produce, as your wine and cheese tour also includes a 3-course lunch with wine, in a local restaurant*.

After lunch, your afternoon provides you with the opportunity to taste some of Châteaumeillant’s most celebrated wine.

You will visit a local vineyard with your guide, where you will taste some of this AOC’s (Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée) different wines, including the famous rosé gris and the ruby-coloured reds.

As part of your wine tour, you will also enjoy a stroll through the vines, taking in the breathtaking views as you go, so that you have the opportunity to savour your surroundings and really get to know the terroir.

And no need to worry about designated drivers, as your tour includes pick-up and drop-off to your gîte or hotel (available within 20km of Châteameillant – pick-up/drop-off is available from farther afield for a small supplement).

Tour pick-ups are at 9:45am and you will be dropped off by 4:30pm at the latest.

Full day tours cost 115€ per person (minimum of 2 people) and take place 7 days a week in peak season.
