Très bien! Pete drove us to the vineyard and told us lots of interesting info on the way about the wine of the region. He then showed us the vines, and explained the different ways they are pruned and trained. We were lucky to be there on an open day for the producer, which meant there were locals there choosing their wine for the summer, and stalls selling local cheeses, meats and more. We sampled about 7 wines (very healthy measures) made by the very friendly Angelique, and Pete explained the different grapes used, tastes etc. Even my boyfriend, who doesn’t drink at all, really enjoyed the day and sampled the jus du raisin instead.
